Freshmen and sophomores in high school can pursue their interest in engineering through a Purdue weekend event.
Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day will offer a daylong event beginning at 9 a.m. Feb. 24 showcasing the variety of engineering disciplines Purdue has to offer. In addition, families may join for a concurrent session held by Imagination, Innovation, Discovery, and Design, an after-school academic year program through Purdue’s Women in Engineering Program.
The event is free and pre-registration is necessary. Freshmen and sophomore participants will be guided by current engineering students and faculty. Those participating in the concurrent I2D2 event must remain under parental supervision.
