To enhance teaching and learning opportunities in STEM subject areas, parents, teachers, students and administrators need to be provided with the opportunity to share and evaluate STEM related resources. These resources may be lesson plans, web sites, activities for home, activities for school, and listservs just to name a few.
The left hand column allows you to look at these resources by program types, target audience, target level, or subject. Once a sub-item is selected a list of the associated resources with a brief description will be provided. Clicking on the title (blue words) of the resource will provide a more detailed description. These more detailed descriptions may contain web links or documents available to download. Keywords associated with each resource are also listed. If you are logged onto the I-STEM website, you are able to add comments to resources you have viewed.
Logging into the I-STEM network also provides you with the opportunity to share your own resources. If you are logged in, you will see a button above purpose labeled View My Resources. Click on this button. Then click the Add Resource button. Once you have added the information available on the edit resource form you are able to add keywords, attach documents, and/or add urls.
