Professional development for teachers and administrators plays an important role in improving K-12 student achievement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. I-STEM offers programs for credit and non-credit and will deliver these programs to teachers, schools, and districts, through its ten regional hubs. Local teachers, schools and communities may work with the I-STEM hub of their choice.

The Professional Development Page of the I-STEM website is dedicated to promoting awareness of current and future local and statewide STEM educational development opportunities, sharing best practice for teaching STEM subjects, and developing and implementing new STEM programs and services. These learning opportunities for teachers, and/or administrators may include students and parents.

The learning opportunities can be viewed by selecting, on the left, a program type, an intended audience, a target level, or a subject. By clicking on one of these sub items a list with a brief description of the development opportunities is provided. By clicking on the Professional Development title (blue words) more in-depth details of the Professional Development are provided.
