Algebra Readiness Conference

Registration for the Indiana Algebra Readiness Conference is currently full. If you would like to be put on the waiting list please submit the registration form.

The I-STEM Resource Network and the Indiana Department of Education are sponsoring the Indiana Algebra Readiness Conference.

The conference will present instructional strategies and resources for middle school mathematics teachers, Algebra I teachers and administrators to help prepare students for success in Algebra I. The conference will include whole-group and breakout sessions conducted by three nationally recognized experts on success in Algebra. The sessions will include Cognitive Demand of Mathematical Tasks, Algebraic Habits of Mind, and Formative Assessment for Success in Algebra.

The Algebra Readiness Conference is the first event in an Algebra Readiness Initiative that will provide online resources for educators and regional workshops across Indiana in July and August.

There is no cost for registration. Teams of teachers and administrators from school districts are encouraged to attend. Space for attending the conference is limited, so please consider registering early.
